In December of 2020, Aurora became the first city in Colorado to allow for recreational marijuana to be delivered. This decision was made by the city council and went into effect in January. The legalization of marijuana delivery coincides with the legalization of marijuana for recreational use. Prior to this, marijuana was only allowed for medical use, and Aurora had no medical marijuana distributors. With recreational marijuana now available, marijuana can now be delivered to the consumer’s home.
There are a few limitations to marijuana delivery. First, marijuana can only be delivered to residential addresses within the city. Second, the purchaser must be at least 21 years old and will have to provide a valid ID when the delivery arrives. The delivery person will scan this ID. Deliveries must be accepted by the person making the order, and they must be present at the address at time of delivery.
As with in-person purchases, there is a limit to how much marijuana can be delivered at a time. Users can purchase up to an ounce of flower or eight grams of edibles or concentrate that contain no more than 800 milligrams of THC.
Medicine Man offers delivery of purchases to those addresses and individuals who meet the regulations put in place by the city council. Take a look at our recreational marijuana delivery menu, make your selections, and use our easy, secure online checkout system to pay.
